Rip Van Winkle Triathlon #1 / Post 1

Well I’m about to leave for the Rip Van Winkle Tri. This will be my first open water swim. The weather yesterday was really bad, it rained for several hours. I’m not sure if that will have any effect on the lake, if anything it may just have mixed a little more mud in the water than usual. As I type,I can hear thunder. My first OWS, and in the rain… sure why not.

On another note, I found out about 3 new events yesterday that I am interested in.
