Welcome, Who I am…

I am a ASP.NET developer. I usually work with Windows, but I do have some limited knowledge of linux. I am starting this blog primarily to document programming or installation issues that have given me problems, or those that are not well documented on the web at this time. I am the Director of Technology at Golfballs.com, so many of my post may make mention of the business.

Our site is currently running on a single web server, and single MS SQL server. The site it written in VB.NET, and all the ajax functions were written in house, adapted from a library we found on source forge.net.In the near future we may move to a mySQL database, or adapt one of the widely available AJAX libraries (prototype, or jquery). I do not foresee us using the built in AJAX framework in ASP.NET.
